Off-Season Hockey S&C
Build strength, speed, and power this off-season to dominate when next season begins.
Service Description
The Hockey Off-Season Off-Ice Training Program is designed to give athletes the physical edge they need before the next season begins. While in-season and post-season training focus on maintenance and recovery, the off-season is where real development happens—this is the window to build strength, increase power, improve speed, and enhance overall athleticism. This program follows the same structured, high-level approach as our post-season training, but shifts the focus toward progressive overload, explosive development, and long-term performance gains. Athletes will train in a controlled, high-energy environment that emphasizes proper mechanics, intent, and measurable progress. Each session is built around key performance pillars essential for hockey: Lower Body Strength & Power – Developing force production for stronger strides, faster acceleration, and better stability on the ice Upper Body Strength & Structural Balance – Improving puck control, shooting power, and resilience through contact Rotational Power & Core Stability – Enhancing shot velocity and transfer of energy through the kinetic chain Speed, Agility & Quickness (SAQ) – Improving first-step explosiveness, edge transitions, and reaction time Energy System Development – Building conditioning specific to the demands of hockey without unnecessary fatigue Athletes will follow a progressive training system that evolves week-to-week, ensuring continuous adaptation and growth. Every exercise, set, and rep is intentional—designed to translate directly to on-ice performance. In addition to physical development, athletes will gain a deeper understanding of how to train properly, move efficiently, and take ownership of their performance. This creates not just better athletes—but more confident, prepared competitors heading into the next season. The off-season is where separation is created. While others maintain, this program is built for those who want to improve, develop, and gain a real advantage before stepping back onto the ice.
