About the event
We are excited to introduce a specialized strength and conditioning program designed to help Lincoln-Way Hockey Club athletes enhance their performance on the ice. Strength training is a critical component of hockey success, improving skating speed, shot power, endurance, and injury prevention—all of which are key to excelling during competition.
At Body Mechanix, we take a structured, year-round approach to athletic development, ensuring that players are properly prepared for each phase of their season. To illustrate this, we’ve created the attached Hockey Strength & Conditioning Overview infographic, which highlights key training methods that enhance on-ice performance. It also outlines how our training approach adapts throughout the year to maximize gains in the off-season, prepare players in the pre-season, and maintain performance during the season.
