Service Description

Welcome to the Body Mechanix Speed & Strength Lab—the summer co-ed program engineered to unlock the athletic potential of 9- to 13-year-olds boys and girls through science-driven training. Held weekly, every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12 PM to 2 PM, this two-hour camp combines the excitement of sport with the precision of research-backed methods inside our indoor turf facility at 1024 S Cedar Rd, New Lenox. Each session is run by a NASM-Certified performance coach who turns cutting-edge studies in youth biomechanics and motor-skill acquisition into fun, age-appropriate drills. Athletes rotate through three focused blocks—Speed Mechanics, Agility & Change-of-Direction, and Strength & Power—learning to accelerate, decelerate, jump, land, and explode in every plane of motion. Our 10-athlete cap ensures every rep is coached and every question answered. Training follows a four-week loop—Foundation, Force, Velocity, and Power/React—so newcomers can join any Monday and veterans continue to layer skill on skill. On a camper’s first day we record simple baseline measures like a 20-yard dash, vertical jump, and medicine-ball chest throw; quick re-checks each Friday let the coach fine-tune the next week, but scores stay private to keep the focus on personal growth. What sets the Lab apart is its “measure, adjust, retest” mindset. Like scientists, we observe, interpret, and apply targeted progressions—maybe lighter kettlebells for pristine form, sled resistance to sharpen drive angles, or reactive tag games to hard-wire split-second decisions. The payoff is transferable athleticism that shows up whether your child bursts down the football sideline, beats a defender on the soccer pitch, or simply wants to outrun friends on the playground. Safety is built in: daily readiness check-ins, youth-specific loading, and concussion awareness with hydration breaks every twenty minutes. Enrollment is week-to-week at just $75. Cancellation Policy

All programs are non-refundable within 2 weeks from the start date of the program. There will be no check/credit card refunds within 2 weeks of program start date or after the program has started; a credit onto your Body Mechanix Fitness account will be given for future use. If programs are cancelled due to low enrollment by Body Mechanix Fitness, participants will be given the option of a full refund or a credit onto their Body Mechanix Fitness account for future use.
