Service Description

The Body Mechanix off-season model rests on one truth: durable horsepower wins hockey games. When players lack it, skill fades under fatigue, tactics break down, and confidence wobbles. Our twelve-week, three-day protocol is engineered to build that horsepower while preserving ankle-to-neck mobility, reactive quickness, and aerobic repeatability—the traits the transition-heavy modern game demands. Phase 1 (Weeks 1-4) hard-wires flawless movement and connective-tissue tolerance with tempo trap-bar pulls, single-leg squats, and rotational core drills that mirror crossover forces. Phase 2 (Weeks 5-8) turns strength into speed: heavy lifts pair with depth-jump rebounds, hang-clean clusters, and sled sprints that teach the body to project force into the ice. Phase 3 (Weeks 9-10) pushes game-speed conditioning—Lateral speed meets power endurance conditioning at true shift work-to-rest ratios—before a strategic deload and full testing week prove every gain in black-and-white jump testing and timing-gate data. Three evenings a week, small cohorts cycle through 90-minute sessions. Players squat, sprint, slide, push, breathe, recover, and learn—five-minute micro-lessons on fueling, sleep, and mindset turn reps into lasting habits. They watch their own power curves climb on screen and feel first-stride bursts beating peers to pucks at summer showcases. When camps open in August, coaches inherit athletes ready for systems work, not remedial conditioning. They arrive bonded by shared hardship, equipped with the deceleration strength that keeps knees safe in tight turns and the repeat-sprint engine that powers special-teams shifts deep into the third. Each skater leaves with a dossier—numbers, videos, mobility scores, and an in-season lift plan—proof that every watt gained and tenth shaved was earned, not guessed. A summer can vanish in unstructured skates and wishful lifts, or it can become a deliberate launchpad where every drill, every pound, every heartbeat maps back to the ice. Choose the launchpad. Bring skill and hunger; let Body Mechanix supply the engine that makes them unstoppable when the puck drops next fall.
